“Dare to Compare” Saddle Fitting Lecture & Demo with DK Saddlery

Danny Kroetch, world-renowned Master Saddle fitter and designer from Calgary, Alberta will be here, at UNH on Saturday May 11th. Danny will start this event with a lecture on saddle fit, his theories, and studies vs. fit of traditional saddles. A ridden demonstration will follow the lecture. Several participants and horses will be measured and a DK saddle will be fitted to them. They will compare fit, comfort, and horse’s movement, first in a DK saddle and then their own saddle.
Danny has designed the next step in the evolution of saddlery. Danny’s innovative design allows more freedom for horse and rider, incorporating the biomechanics of the horse in motion. It is based on scientific research that Danny has participated in at the University of Utrecht in Holland.
This is an opportunity to work directly with a saddle maker himself and clarify any myths and misconceptions regarding the most important piece of equipment used in equestrian sport. There are a limited number of appointments available after the demonstration for a consultation and evaluation of your horse, your saddle, and you. Consultation fee and proof of negative coggins is required.
